元认知与大学新生英语自主学习能力的培养

摘    要:目前许多大学新生的英语自主学习能力较差,而元认知水平与自主学习息息相关,所以大学英语教师在教学过程中应重视并利用元认知的有关知识,逐步引导大学新生,让他们了解基本心理和学习类型,学会合作学习,努力提高自主学习能力。

Abstract:Currently,most of the college freshmen have a poor ability of autonomous learning,while meta-cognitive level has a close relationship with autonomous learning.Therefore,college English teachers should pay attention to knowledge about meta-cognitive and use it to guide freshmen step by step,making them know basic psychology and learning style,cooperative learning and learning autonomously.
