| Abstract: | In order to meet the new situation of a more open and competitive insuranceindustry after China's entry into WTO, the new Insurance Law has intensified the protection of the interests of the insured and the supervision of the insurance industry, which is part of the China's commitments to WTO as well as the need for further reform towards marketization and globalization of the insurance industry. |
