| Abstract: | This paper, from such three aspects as the idea and the model of teaching, the objective and the approach, the interest and the application, discusses and analyses the main features of New College English. It considers that the way focusing on language learners and topic-centered model embody the demands proposed by the New Syllabus, and conform to the rules of language teaching as well. |
