闻一多人格精神的形成,既决定于儒道融合的楚骚文化和西方“二希”文化的多元文化根基,也决定于“五四”运动和20世纪40年代民族文化反思的特殊时代因素,但更重要的还决定于他个体信仰中的民族主义观念和宗教观念。闻一多的人格精神特质主要表现为开放性与坚韧性,这种开放性渗透在他的创作、学术、诗学和社会理想之中,而坚韧性则体现在他的英雄理想、人格自守、恃心傲物和“杀身成仁”的气质与意志之中。

Religious Culture and Wen Yi-duo''s Moral Integrity

Wen Yi -duo's moral integrity was formed on the basis of the following three aspects; 1) Shao culture spurred by the combination of Confucianism and Taoism, plus ancient Greek and Hebrew culture ; 2) the whole nations cultural reflection during the May Fourth Movement in 1919, 1920s and 1940s. 3) the most important of all-the concept of nationalism and religion belief.
