徐渭、董其昌文论比较研究

徐渭、董其昌二人深受晚明心学思想 (特别是王学左派 )影响 ,具有“狂者”精神。在文论上他们都反对前后七子提倡的复古之风 (徐激烈尖锐 ,董温文尔雅 ) ,都提倡具有真性情的文章 (徐提倡“真我”、“本色”,董提倡“淡”、“真种子”、“真血脉”、“悟”) ,但由于他们思想倾向 (徐倾向于道 ,董倾向于禅 )的不同、生活经历的巨大差异和由此造成雅俗观念的不同 ,使他们的文论又具有相异性

A Comparison of the Essays by Xu Wei and Those by Dong Qichang

Influenced by the mentalist school in late Ming Dydasty, both Xu Wei and Dong Qichang exhibited a sort of 'craziness' in their essays. They were both opposed to the trend of restoration advocated by 'the seven literary giants'. (Xu opposed fiercely while Dong was in a milder tone.) However, they believed that all literary works should be the spontaneous flow of powerful feeling. Because of the different tendencies of thinking and different experiences, which resulted in their different opinions of the earthly world, their essays have different characteristics.
