日本民族文化的成因探析

日本是与中国一衣带水的国家,日本文化是在中国文化的哺育下形成和发展起来的,日本文化与中国文化同属儒家文化系统。然而,两国民族文化的核心内容和特征却迥然不同,中华民族文化强调和平与自守,日本民族文化却崇尚竞争和扩张。根源在于两国不同的文化生存要素——地理环境、经济环境和社会结构。日本民族文化以现实利益调节善恶的价值标准,面向世界的开放性和海绵般的吸收性,不受约束、不惜一切的竞争性、扩张性和崇尚武勇、弱肉强食的文化特征,都可以从日本民族文化的生成要素中得到可靠的解释或答案。

Analysis of the Causes to the Formation of Japanese Culture

Competitiveness and expansionism characterize the Japanese culture,which is different from its mother culture,the Chinese one.The Chinese culture observes the principles of peace and non-aggressiveness,even though the two countries are close to each other in geography.The Japanese culture is nurtured and developed under the Chinese culture and both of them adhere to Confucius' views.The causative factors for the formation of these characteristics are based on the related elements,namely,its geographical and economic backgrounds and its social structure,which also offers a persuasive explanation to other characteristics of the Japanese culture such as the value of good and evil directed by political interest,the openness to the outside world,the sponge-like absorption from the other countries,the unrestrained competitiveness,expansionism,brevity and jungle law.
