"企业应该追求利润最大化",这句话在经济生活中使用的频率很高;"企业应该承担社会责任",这句话在经济生活中则鲜有所闻.任何国家、任何经济性质的企业,其应承担的社会责任大体上是一致的.一般来说,企业越发展,承担的社会责任就越大,在企业资产扩大的同时,从某种意义上说,也是社会财富的增长;企业家的成功,在于他创造的企业积累,更在于他对社会承担的责任,其核心是其人生价值的实现.企业家自觉地承担企业的社会责任;社会充分肯定企业的社会责任,两者的结合是社会文明建设的强大动力.

On the Social Responsibility of an Enterprise

The sentence "an enterprise should seek the maximum profit" is frequently used in our economic life, but the sentence "an enterprise should shoulder the social responsibility" is rarely heard. Enterprises in any country or of any nature unanimously acknowledge the social responsibility. Generally, the more advances an enterprise makes, the bigger social responsibility it should take. The expansion of the enterprise capital is, in a sense, the growth of the wealth of the society. The success of an entrepreneur lies in not only the accumulation of his enterprise but the responsibility he bears for the society, with the core being the realization of the value of his life. An entrepreneur conscientiously shoulders his responsibility for the society and the society fully affirms the social responsibility of an enterprise. The combination of the two forms the powerful motive force of building up spiritual civilization.
