结构隐喻的理论基源及系统性语用特征

结构隐喻是以一种概念的结构来构造另一种概念。结构隐喻既表现为相关概念的结构对应关系,又表现为已知概念的特征词语对新概念的侵入。因此,结构隐喻对文本构建方式的影响可涉及语篇层次。文章把构成结构隐喻的现象与本体当成由语词元素组成的具有拓扑性质的话语空间系统来研究,从拓扑学的角度分析结构隐喻的系统性语用特征。结构隐喻具有统摄命名的特质以及系统内部隐喻级阶指摄意义的连续性。结构隐喻的语用特征表现为意义的不确定性和歧义性,具有创造知识和建构意识形态的能力及文化创造性。

Structural Metaphor: Rationale and Pragmatic Nature from a Systematic Perspective

Structural metaphor is defined as a conceptional construction through a given concept, which shows not only the structural correspondence between the two concepts but also the invasion of certain words in the given concept into the new one. Hence, the effect of structural metaphor on a text production can be at the textual level. This paper studies structural metaphor as well as its pragmatic nature from a topological perspective, holding that a metaphorical system should be constructed under a controlling name and with the signification continuity, and that uncertainty and indeterminacy in meanings are peculiar to the system. Structural metaphor contributes greatly to the creation of knowledge and culture.
