| 摘 要： | 古典翻译法在教学史上曾受到猛烈攻击,翻译的作用被怀疑.目前研究者对翻译的作用有了新的认识.本文结合Swain等人的产出性理论,认为回译作为一种特殊的L1-L2翻译,对学习者可以起到积极的作用.

| Abstract: | As a result of late 19th century reform movement, translation is rarely considered as an effective method in second language learning. By now, however, we can reconsider the role of translation based on some recent findings. With Swain's Output Hypothesis, we think back translation can be helpful in foreign languageleaning. |
