Strategies for the Development of Marine Higher Education Under Globalization:A Case Study of Zhejiang Ocean University

With increasingly importance attached to the marine business,there are close relationships and interactions between marine higher education and the innovation of marine science and technology as well as the development of marine economy.Ocean universities should actively take up the tasks of strengthening marine awareness,cultivating marine talents,concentrating on the innovation of marine science and technology,serving the development of marine business,speeding up the internationalization of marine higher education and realizing the harmony between man and ocean,in order to handle the challenges of the development of marine economy facing the globe effectively and promote the good and rapid development of marine higher education.
