| 摘 要： | 基于航海英语语料库(NEC)和普通英语语料库(BROWNA,LOBA)对航海英语和普通英语中的言语动词进行量化分析。在分析了航海英语中高频率言语动词的词源和语义成分后得出结论:航海英语中出现的高频率言语动词具有正式性、准确性、可靠性、权威性和客观性的特点,从一个侧面反映了航海英语的文体特征。

| Abstract: | This paper is to make a quantitative analysis of speech act verbs in nautical English and general English.The study is based on the statistical analysis of the frequencies and distributions of the speech act verbs in NEC,as compared with the other two corpora-BROWNA and LOBA.After analyzing the etymology and the semantic components of the speech act verbs with high frequencies in the NEC corpus,a conclusion is reached that speech act verbs with high frequencies in NEC hold the characteristics of formality,accuracy,reliability,authority and objectivity,which from one aspect shows the stylistic features of nautical English. |
