毛泽东与美军观察组政治顾问谢伟思的谈话启示

谢伟思作为美军观察组的政治顾问在延安生活了三个多月时间,毛泽东等中共领导人先后与他进行了50多次谈话,双方谈话内容广泛而深刻,包括国共两党的历史与矛盾、中共与苏联关系、美国对中共的态度和政策、如何防止中国内战等。据此谢伟思向美国政府发回了100多份报告。总结分析这些谈话内容对于我国更好地处理与美国的关系具有重大的现实意义。

Conversational Inspirations between Mao Zedong and the Political Consultant of the U.S. Army Observer Group Xie Weisi

Xie Weisi, as the political consultant of the U. S. Army Observer Group, has lived in Yan＇ an for more than three months. Mao Zedong and other Chinese leaders talked with him more than fifty times in succession. Both sides have extensive and profound conversations,including the history and contradictions of the KMT and the CPC, the relationships of the Chinese Communist Party and the Soviet Union, the attitudes and the policies of America to CCP and how to prevent civil war in China, etc. According to these conversations, Xie Weisi sent back to the U. S. government more than one hundred reports. Summning and analyzing the contents of these conversatons are of great practical significance and profound implications for us today to deal with the relationships with the United States.
