Base on the data and experience obtained from the field work,this article panoramically exhibits the peasants' idea of "supported by the son" from the postmodern perspective.This article studies the conditions,the environments,the relations and the feedback of the cultural phenomenon about laying particular stress on the preference for male children,and studies how the phenomenon plays a role in realistic world.
