| Abstract: | This paper analyzes the effect of the International Dragon-Boat Competition, held in the Yichang city, Hubei province, April 29th, 2001, on the Economical and Social Development of Yichang City by adopting such research methods as interviews, literature reviews, data analysis and observation. Based on the data collected, the paper also demonstrates the cause of the effect. |
