孙悟空形象的佛学意蕴

在《西游记》诸多人物形象中,孙悟空没有唐僧的宗教虔诚,没有猪八戒的尘思俗念,没有沙僧的谨小慎微。但毫无疑问,孙悟空是作者着墨最多,也是读者最爱的人物形象:他化解了市民的阅读期待同玄奘取经历史事件间的尖锐冲突,消融了佛门经典要义对真率天性的自然拒斥,生动形象地演绎了南宗禅"平常心即道"的佛学理念,在文学领域和中晚唐以后"呵佛骂祖"、"离经叛道"狂禅之风实现了异域同构,客观上加速了佛学世俗化、中国化的进程。

Among many figures of the "Journey to the West",Monkey King is the only one that doesn't have to be pious as TangSeng,earthly as ZhuBajie,or prissy as ShaSeng.Undoubtedly,it is the most important figure in the story.It solved the conflict between readers' expectations for reading Xuan Zang's story and the historical events Xuan Zang actually experienced,ablated the natural rejection to true nature of the Buddhism classics,and vividly interpreted Nanzong Zen's Buddhist concept of "truth being having an peaceful mind".In addition,it accelerated the secularization and localization process of Buddhism in China.
