| 摘 要： | 通过对that从句的主题化和状语的附加位置等语言现象的研究,分析了英语中that从句充当补足成分时的结构,指出：充当补足成分的that从句中,标句词that的出现与否在结构上是两种不同的推导过程;＂CP假设＂并不能完全解释标句词that出现与否的问题;从语言结构推导的经济性来看,＂CP假设＂不等价于＂IP假设＂。

| Abstract: | This paper presents an analysis of that clauses that function as complements.It argues,through the evidence of topicalization in that-less clauses and adverbial adjunction,that IP-hypothesis and CP-hypothesis serve as two different computations in the derivation of that clauses.The IP-hypothesis for that-less clauses is more convincing. |
