素质教育呼唤英语教师角色的转变

摘    要:针对目前我国英语教学状况,提出英语教学改革和英语教学质量提高的关键在于教师。要改变我国长期以来英语教学所花时间较长,效果相对较差的状况,实现在英语教学中培养学生的综合素质,广大英语教师应扮演的角色和所处的地位:从知识传授者转化为教学的研究者;从“讲师”转化为“导师”;既当“良师”又做“益友”。

Abstract:The paper mainly discusses that the key of the reformation and the quality of English learning and teaching lies in the teacher regarding its development in our country.To alter the situation in which English teaching and learning takes a long time with relatively poor achievement and to fulfill the goal of training the students' comprehensive qualities calls for the change of the teacher's role: from a "knowledge deliverer" to a "researcher";from a "lecturer" to a "director";to be a "competent teacher" as well as a "helpful friend".
