课堂讨论在教学中的运用

课堂讨论是班级成员之间的一种互动交流方式,目的在于通过交流各自观点形成对某一问题较为一致的理解、评价或判断。课堂讨论能培养学生判断性思堆能力;帮助学生自己解决问题;培养人际交流技巧等。但课堂讨论又有不易控制、耗费时间和讨论结果难以预料等缺点。所以教师组织课堂讨论应关注以下几个问题:问题设计合理化、座位编排多样化、分组方法科学化、发言机会均等化、教师行为民主化、评价学生多维化。

Discussion activities in teaching

Discussion activities are a way of communication between class members,whose aim is to facilitate understanding,assessment or judgment concerning certain problems.Such activities are helpful in fostering students' judgment and communicative abilities.However,they also have disadvantages, which include difficulties in management,time-consuming,and difficulties in foreseeing discussion re- sults.Therefore,teachers should pay attention to the design of questions for discussion,arrangement of seats,division of student groups,students' opportunities of making speeches,teachers' behavior in class, and evaluation of students' performance.
