Wu Zao is one of the three most reputed women poets in Qing Dynasty.Known particularly for her various styles,her literary talent was widely recognized by her contemporaries.In this Jinlou ci Wu Zao looked at the fate of all people from her own bitter experiences,concluding that the male and the female would eventually meet the same tragic end.It gave expression to the woman poet's indignation and grief at harsh realities at a time when women began to sense the need to liberate themselves from a male-dominated society.
