试论图书情报工作在教学科研中的作用

图书馆的工作水平是衡量高等学校教学和科研能力的重要标志之一。图书情报工作在教学科研中的作用主要体现在以下方面培养具有独立分析能力和研究能力的新型人才；帮助教学、科研人员利用他人的知识成果，促进教育、科学事业的发展；节约教学、科研时间，避免人力、物力、财力的浪费；开展情报教育，促使教学、科研工作的顺利进行，等等。
