| 摘 要： | 《牛津法律大辞典》是世界法律名著The Oxford Companion to Law的中译本,人们对此自然报有较高期望。然而,对照原文,发现该译本无论在总体把握还是具体表述方面错误和不妥之处颇多。本文主要从漏译、专业概念和专业表述等几个方面加以分析、评论,在指出纰漏的同时,探讨译文的改进。这与其说是对一部译作的评述,不如说是一项实用法律翻译研究。文中所举例子,尽管挂一漏万,但力求对提高这一领域的翻译质量有所借鉴和启示。

| Abstract: | The publication of the Chinese version of The Oxford Companion to Law is of sig- nificance to legal professionals and translators in China.However,in comparing the Chinese version with the original,many flaws,mistakes and inappropriate translations can be found.From the aspects of missing translation,specialized terms and profes- sional expressions,this paper intends to comparatively analyze some translation phe- nomena and reveal certain implications based on the typical examples excerpted from the Chinese version.In this sense,this article is more a study of legal translation than a book review. |
