习语翻译中的"等效性"与文化缺失现象的理解

习语的传统译法包括直译、借用、意译等三种基本方式。习语翻译的最终目的要求尽可能地从内容和意义上准确实现不同译语间的信息转换。通过分析习语的不同译法中所表现出的“对等”原则 ,而进一步阐明了等效翻译理论对习语翻译过程中信息转换的影响作用及对习语中所存在的文化缺失现象的理解

THE"DYNAMIC EQUIVALENCE"IN IDIOM TRANSLATION AND COMPREHENSION ON CULTURAL- DEFAULT

Traditional idiom translation involves three essential approaches,i.e.,literal translation,borrowing,and free translation.The ultimate objective of idiom translation demands the accurate accomplishment of message conversion between source language and target language to the utmost both in terms of contents and meanings.Analyzing the so-called"equivalence"principle reflected in various translating approaches of idioms,this paper further expounds the influence of dynamic equivalence on message conversion in process of idiom translation as well as the understanding of existing"cultural-default"in idioms.
