It can be affirmed that Shklovsky showed different views on literature and art over his former humanism thinking in his later works. This article analyses three reasons of Shklovsky's change in detail: first, the limitation of formalism; second, the development of formalism; third, the fact of development of the whole literature and art in 20\+\{th\} century.
