Review on the Sex Difference in Personality Variables

The assumption of sex differences in personality is found in many research reports.Although it's a controversial area,researchers have discovered some sex differences on many personality variables in the past few decades.Using meta analytic procedure,psychologists are now able to tell us something about sex differences.This paper has analyzed some important results of the research of sex differences and argued that there is no significant sex difference on helping behavior,empathy,aggression,and conformity.The validity of sex differences research is doubtable.
