陕北处于中原农耕文化与北方游牧文化的过渡地带。该地区地处偏远,交通闭塞,开发较晚,其宗族形态呈现出了独特的区域性特征。以往学界对我国的东南宗族关注较多,对北方尤其对西北的宗族关注较少。本文就陕北宗族的形成与特征作一探讨,以期为宗族的研究提供一个新的区域个案。
