| 摘 要： | 托克维尔在<论美国的民主>一书中所阐述的民主政治思想中包含着丰富的有关社区的思想.托克维尔从社区的要素来考察美国民主,特别是从美国社会的"乡镇精神"这种社区意识中寻找美国民主的真谛.托克维尔政治理论的社区思想具有高度的科学预见性、现代社区精神以及市民社会等特征,对当代中国政治文明建设具有重要的借鉴意义.
