清代盛京地区的满语文教育

满族统治者为保持本民族特色，奉行“国语骑射”政策，不遗余力地实施满语文教育，在盛京地区设立了众多的满族学校。同时，建立了翻译考试制度，对八旗子弟学习满语文进行严格考核，满语文的好坏甚至关系到官员的升迁。满语文教育提高了盛京地区满族人民的文化素质，培养了一大批满族文化人才，促进了满汉文化交流，加强了民族间的融合。

Manchu Language Education in Shengjing District in the Qing Dynasty

In order to maintain the national characteristics, Manchu rulers implemented the“Studying Man-chu language as well as riding and shooting”policy and spared no efforts to popularize Manchu language education by setting up many schools in Shengjing district. Meanwhile, they established translation examination system and carried on strict assessment of the Manchu language to the Eight Banners’children. The degree of Manchu lan-guage was related to the officinals’promotion. Manchu language education improved the Manchu people’cultural quality and cultivated a large number of Manchu scholars. And it promoted the cultural communication between Manchu and Hans as well as strengthened the ethnic integration.
