| 摘 要： | 华兹华斯的《湖区指南》并不是一部单纯介绍英格兰北部湖区风景的普通旅游手册,而是一帧记录和展示浮华矫饰之风由喧嚣都市向边远湖区侵入渗透的时风世情图。基于对英国工业化城市化背景下人们生存状态和道德精神面貌的敏锐体察和深沉关切,华兹华斯在文学生涯之初便树立了＂审美济世＂的宏图伟志。《湖区指南》在根本上便是华兹华斯＂审美济世＂宏图的一个有机组成部分,其意旨在提升湖区居民和游客们的审美趣味,而并非如生态批评家乔纳森.贝特所声称的＂教育他们保护湖区脆弱的生态系统＂。
