新时代人民政协协商民主的新发展

中共十八大以来,以习近平同志为核心的党中央带领人民统揽“四个伟大”,统筹推进“五位一体”总体布局,协调推进“四个全面”战略布局,推动党和国家事业取得历史性成就,发生历史性变革,使中国特色社会主义进入新时代。在这一背景下,人民政协协商民主的思想内涵不断深化,职能定位更加精准,议政格局日益完善,对发展中国社会主义协商民主及推动国家治理体系和治理能力现代化具有重要的战略意义。

New development of consultative democracy of People’s Political Consultative Conference in New Era

Since the 18th National Congress of the CPC, The Party Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping as its Core lead Chinese people centralizing the “Four Greats”, promoting the overall layout of the “Five in One”, and improving the “Four Comprehensives” strategic layout in a coordinated manner. Those have promoted the Party and nation made historic achievements, and realized historic changes, and the Socialism with Chinese Characteristics comes into a New Era. Under the background, the ideological connotation is deepened continuously, the function positioning is more precise, and the consulting pattern is more perfect of consultative democracy of People’s Political Consultative Conference. That has important strategic significance to the development of socialist consultative democracy and the promotion of modernization of state governance system and governance capability in China.
