| 摘 要： | 本文从构词、词义变化、成语及谚语三方面分析了英、汉习用性比喻的相同点 ,从地域因素、联想意义、文学与宗教、及音韵效果方面阐释导致二者间差异的原因 ,以期缩短英、汉语跨文化交际中因缺乏理解甚至误解所产生的距离。

| Abstract: | This thesis has analyzed the sameness of both English and Chinese metaphors through the word- formation, change of meaning, idioms and proverbs, meanwhile, has explained the reasons of its difference on geographical elements, associations, influence by literature and religion, and phonetic effects so as to shorten the distance caused by lacking in understanding or even by misunderstanding in the intercultural communication between English and Chinese. |
