In the mechanism of improving production factors in the process of ＂for each according to his contribution＂, the income gap should be limited within a reasonable scope. For the government, as the main body of promoting common prosperity, it should play a good role in redistribution by drawing a clear line between the government and the market, putting the satisfaction of the basic needs of the people as a whole a priority, seeing it as a long-term policy to improve people＇ s capabilities which can enlarge the medium income group, and narrowing the gap between the low income group and the medium income group.
