| Abstract: | Legal language falls under the category of institutional discourse, it embodies various legal relations among different entities in the realm of law, The article intends to analyze Chinese judgments based on Foucanlt＇s theory of power and discourse, with the aim of tracing the main linguistic manifestations of power asymmetries between the judge and the litigants. |
