| Abstract: | The economic globalization promotes cross cultural communication,which,in turn,benefits the development and maturity of the shared culture of the world.Culture is closely related to foreign language teaching.Every culture has its own unique Idealised Cognitive Model (ICM).It is via its own ICM that the shared culture of the world plays a positive role in foreign language teaching. |
