| 摘 要： | 太平天国崇拜上帝，反对儒、释、道，形成了中西文化的激烈对抗。曾国蒋家族信奉儒、释、道，起而抵抗，父死子继，弟死兄继，直至太平天国失败。有大量的曾国藩之类的家族与太平天国对抗，应该也是太平天国失败的一个重要原因。太平天国起义当然是一次激烈的阶级斗争，但是，它同时也具有明显的中西文化冲突的色彩．

| Abstract: | Taiping Heavenly Kingdom worshiped God and opposed Confucianism and Taoism. So, a sharp conflict between Chinese and western culture came into being. Zeng Guofan＇s family believed in Confucianism and Taoism. They resisted the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom from generation to generation till the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom was defeated. An important reason of the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom＇s failure is that so many families like Zeng Guofan＇s opposed it. The Taiping Rebellion was an intense class struggle. Meanwhile, it had the distinctive characteristic of a conflict between Chinese and western culture. |
