Popper was a science philosopher who devoted much attention to the studies of errors.His main views on error included:the four phase pattern of the increase of scientific knowledge(problem trial error elimination prob lem);the method of trial and error;and errorablism.He advocated"leaning from errors",and treating one's own and others'errors with a manner of rational criticism.The important value of Popper's views on error lies in"treating the mistakes with a scientific approach".
