近代基督教在中韩两国传播之比较

近代以来,基督教作为西方文化的代表,先后进入了中韩社会,开始了与传统的东方儒家文化的接触与碰撞,冲突与交融。但是,基督教在有着相似社会背景和相同文化类型的中韩两国的传播进程却有很大差异,较之中国,基督教在韩国取得了更大的成就。究其原因,两国的政治环境、文化特点以及基督教在两国进行文化本土化的程度在其中起了至关重要的作用。

A Comparison of the Spread of Modern Christianity in China and in Korea

Ever since the modern age, Christianity, representative of western culture, has successively spread into China and Korea, thus beginning the contacts and collisions, conflicts and fusions between traditional eastern Confucian culture and Christianity. However, the process of its spreading in the two countries with similar social and similar cultural backgrounds is far from similar. Compared with China, Christianity has obtained much more achievements in Korea. The very reason for this lies in the fact that the political environments, and the culture characteristics of, and the different degrees of its localization in, the two countries have played a decisive role in it.
