近代中国边缘地区的农工生活——以抗战前后兴县杨家坡村为中心的考察

晋西北农村在近代中国是不折不扣的"边缘地区",尽管自耕农或半自耕农始终构成了农村社会的主体,但雇农作为该地区农民社会中一个比例极小的阶层却难以获得摆脱极度贫困的机会,甚至在抗战初期出现了明显的反向发展走势,兴县杨家坡雇工刘老蛇就是一个非常典型的范例。不过,刘老蛇生活的经历绝非其个人经历,而是一幅晋西北农村整个农工生活的素描,大量档案和时人丰富的调查资料证明了这一点。

On the Rural Hired-laborers's Living in the Marginal Region of Modern China——Investigation Revolving around Yangjiapo Village in Xing County in 1930-1940s

The peasant economy was dominant in the northwest Shanxi in modern China. Although,the rural hired-labourers, as one of the farmer classes, were very small on the scale in the peasant society of the region, their livings were miserable to the utmost, especially in the turning of 1930-1940s. Liu Laoshe, a farmer labourer in Yangjiapo village of Xing county, was such a very representative example. Liu's experience was a epitome of the entire life of farmer workers of northwest Shanxi in that times.
