A Field Survey of Xinglongshan Temple Fair in Huanxian County of Gansu Province

Temple Fair is an integrative part of traditional Chinese culture.This paper introduced Xinglongshan Temple Fair in the following five aspects: the distribution of temples,religious rites,spiritual belief,folk art and commerce and trade.The temple fair culture can be seen as a "living fossil" for its rich contents and simple forms in comprehending and research into the traditional culture of Huanxian County.
