现代审美主义救赎刍议

现代工具理性文明对个体精神的物化作用催生了审美现代性，其思想的核心是，艺术对现实的否定与反抗作用能使个体产生一种内驱力，去质疑现代异化文明，寻得精神救赎并重新确立自我。然而，审美现代性把启蒙现代性置于绝对对立的位置，缺乏合理性；发轫于现代性中的审美主义却要消解现代性，否定了自身的存在；审美主义变成“精英”空谈，陷入固步自封、“自恋”的怪圈，丧失了对大众的救赎功能；艺术的泛生活化和货币化颠覆了审美主义艺术救赎的主旨。这就注定了审美主义无法实现救赎，现代人在寻求精神自由时无奈地陷入了绝望的境地。

The Salvation of Modern Aestheticism

The materializing effect of modern instrumental rationality civilization on individuals＇ mind gave birth to aesthetic modernity highlighting the function of art in its negation and rebellion of reality which would drive the individuals to doubt the alienation of modern civilization, to seek for self-salvation, and to remold one＇ s character. However, aesthetic modernity lacked rationality for its absolute opposition to enlightening modernity. The aestheticism, born in modernity, negated its own existence due to its tendency to end modernity. It became the prittleprattle of the ＂elite＂ so that it inevitably lapsed into the strange circle of narcissism and lost the function of saving all the human beings. The pan - life stylization and the commercialization of art eventually subverted the redeeming orientation of aestheticism art. With the failure of aesthetic salvation, modern men got stuck in hopeless situation in their pursuit of spiritual frcedom.
