中美节庆文化的表征与内涵分析及其启示

为了使节庆这个承载着独特民族传统的文化介质更好地适应并服务于现代文明,通过对美国和新中国各自主要的节庆实践进行定量描述,在归类和比较的基础上,定性分析了中美两国节庆的不同特征、功能及价值重心取向,认为我国现行的官方、民间二元结构的节日体系应该朝着尽量谐和的方向改革,官方节日频率应该增加。

Exploration of sino-american holidays at surface-depth level and their revelations

In view of better employment of festival cultures that are loaded with unique national and ethnic tradition and of improvement on those holiday cultures for the sake of modern civilization,the paper uses quantitative methods describing major festive practices in both China and U.S.by way of classifying and comparing,and explores different characteristics and functions as well as value orientations underlying different framework of holidays in the two nations.The study proposes that the on-going dual systems of holidays in China be harmonized and that the frequency be increased so as to accord modern humanitarian progression.
