人为什么知善而不行,知恶却为之——论一个道德动力学问题

早在古代,人们就看到人知善而不为和知恶而为之的现象,并试图对此给予说明。如何才能使人们心甘情愿地去遵守道德法则,知善而行之,知恶而避之,对于伦理学来说,这是一个十分重要的问题。从理论上看,这是一个道德动力学的问题,从实践上看,这是一个知行如何统一的问题,面对当代中国的道德状况而言,这是一个亟需解决的现实问题。因此,提出该问题以引起人们的关注,是很有必要的。

Why is virtue not pursued and vice not avoided: a question about moral dynamics

As early as the ancient times,it has been realized that people sometime didn't choose to pursue virtue and avoid vice though they were conscious of the line between right and wrong.This presents an important ethical issue as to how to make people willingly obey moral principles,do good deeds and reject evil doing of all kinds.Theoretically,this is a problem about ethical dynamics.In practice,it is a problem that needs a prompt answer in view of the status quo of ethics in China.
