Globalization: Transcending the National Country or the National Culture?

The essence of globalization does not lie in transcending the national country. Rather, it lies in transcending the national culture, for national culture is not only a community of politically conscious formation but also a community of national cultures. After the elimination of antithesis between politically conscious formations among the national countries during the course of globalization, cultural antithesis among the nations has come to be the core issue. Only by establishing a global culture on the basis of the national cultures can the antithesis among the national cultures be really transcended.
