大丈夫之词--论辛稼轩

1162年,辛稼轩自金南归宋,至1207年辛稼轩死,45年间,辛稼轩怀北伐雪耻之大愿,然南宋偏安朝廷,苟且偷生,佞臣当权,残害忠良。辛稼轩虽有文武奇才,而身居下僚,且仕途险恶,三起三落, 壮志沉埋。其间,歌以述怀,写下了不朽的壮丽、悲凉词章。以婉约、豪放区分历代词人,实为研究者的方便说词,而这种方便是多余的。辛稼轩不只拓宽了词之境界,且于语言上开旷古未有之自由疏放特色,无法以门户限之。

Real Man's Poem

Xin jiaxuan returned from Jin state to southern Song in the year 1162. Since then, he had cherished the great desire of sending punitive expeditions northward and clearing the humiliation in the next 45 years untio he died in 1207. While the royal government of south Song kept alive without serious ambition, the sycophant officials got the authority and the loyal officials were persecuted. Although Xin Jiaxuan was a talent of both literature and militariness, he was a lower official with hard official career, dismissed from his office three times. His desire could not be realized. During this period, he voiced his feelings in his poems and wrote a lot immortal magnificent sad poems. Classifying poets of past dynasties into "restrained style" and "unrestrained style" is actually for researchers convenience which is unnecessary. The poem of Xin Jiaxuan was not only broardened the "poetic world" of poetry, but also started a free and unrestrained language style never seen in past history which could not be limited with certain sect.
