| 摘 要： | 美式英语与英式英语在语音、词汇、语法等方面都存在一定的差别 ,且这些差别都在不断的变化之中。继承、创新、隔离是语言变化的三要素。通过典型的例证 ,分析了美式英语与英式英语在词汇、用法、拼法等方面的差别及产生这些差别的原因。同时 ,对于地域、时间、行话、俚语等原因引起的语言差别及其变化 ,也作了简要的分析。

| Abstract: | There are some differences in pronunciation, vocabulary, usage, etc. between American English and British English and they are still changing now. Inheritance, innovation, and isolation are the three factors of language changes, and the changes resulted from the differences between cultures. The article analyses the differences in vocabulary, usage, spelling, etc. and the reasons that caused the differences with some typical examples. Differences in punctuation, geographical scope, time scope, jargon and slang are also briefly analysed. |
