| 摘 要： | 进入20世纪以后,严复开始走出原有的体制之外,在教育转型中获取新的权势,为立宪改革探寻理论依据,成为游移于革命与保皇之间的中间势力的典型代表。在风云诡谲的辛亥变局中,他与袁世凯密切配合,为袁主控全局献谋献策,进而坐享了辛亥革命的成果。严复的思想演变,为我们了解清末中间力量的抉择提供了一个值得解剖的标本。
