| Abstract: | Language is the carrier of culture and language contacts facilitated borrowings from other languages.Loanwords of English origin are increasing in Chinese,which have already become a part of Chinese language.The better understanding of loanwords of English origin,especially their semantic changes in a foreign language,will help us reveal some linguistic principles and promote mutual development of human being as well. |
