On the Type,Nature and Development Trend of Cross-border Ethnic Groups

The author discusses on such theoretical issues as definition, type, nature, course of formation and development trend of cross-border ethnic groups. She thinks cross-border ethnic groups in the world nowadays can be classified into two types, one is human community in the category of political anthropology, and the other is human community in the category of cultural anthropology. The nature of a cross-border ethnic group depends on the form of combination of the group with the nation. Different ethnic groups have different development trends.
