| Abstract: | Linguists have dedicated themselves to the research on the corpus linguistics for over 4 decades,and have gained a certain number of the achievements.Corpora of the newly-emerged generation have already granted the robust guidance to the linguistic studies.The paper aimed to introduce the origin and relevant concepts of corpus linguistics,and also briefly reviewed its history.It ended with an insightful statement for the future of corpus linguistics. |
