The Cultural Worrying Mentality in Early Song Dynasty

By employing the"challenge accepting challenge"theory, the author holds that the cultural worrying mentality in early Song Dynasty resulfs from the crisis of Confucian culture .The worrying mentality is mainly shown in three aspects. It forms a tidal current, causing and promoting Classical learning and Confucian innovation, and pushing the culture of Song Dynasty to its height. The Confucian culture is given a new life. Finally, it defeats Buddhism and Taoism, and its main body position is further strengthened.
