| Abstract: | Keen attention is paid to the Chinese rural conditions and the fate of Chines e farmers both in Lu Xun's and Zhao Shuli's novels .In the engagement of depicti on of the old Chinese villages ,their novels are in inheritance with embodiment of their own uniqueness which is showed in deep sympathy with Chinese farmers, s pirit of anti-feudalism, characterization of various farmers and critical inheri tance of the cultures both at home and abroad. |
